Steve Baum –
Hi, I’m Steve Baum. You might recognize me from the DMV movies ‘No Pants, No Problem and as crash victim #2 in ‘Who’s collarbone is that anyway?’ See also: https://www.youtube.com/user/stevebaum/featured
But today I’m here to talk about the MXCONTROLPAD seat. I was recruited by James ( the inventor) to help test his seat in its several variations. At 1st, in its early stages, when was testing the seat I thought it was nice, but I didn’t need this sort of thing. Now that the seat is at its zenith, I have to admit, I love it! I mean, this thing is great! When I gave the tester back, I didn’t feel as connected to my bike anymore. I didn’t fully appreciate it because it’s so quick and natural to use, I didn’t realize how much it was helping me. I thought I was “okay enough at gripping the bike w/ my knees. This product helps grip the bike in climbs, in turns and braking. It isn’t wide as to get in the way when you don’t want it or when sitting. As far as a seat goes, it’s comfortable to sit on and looks good. It’s got grip material and works fine, but as knee control bumps help me nice and neutral and connected to the bike.
